WHAT TO EXPECT

Get ready for our longest experience yet!  This time, we’re bringing in Sunaina Rekhi for twenty one days of yoga and detoxing.  Okay so why twenty one days?  Well scientifically, it takes at least twenty one days to form a habit.  Now this is precisely the idea!  Of course, it’s amazing what you can learn in a few minutes or even a few hours, but if you’re not practicing it several times a week, it’s unlikely to stick.

Don’t you worry, you’ll have Sunaina here to motivate you through the course.  Well, this is your chance to learn from one of the best yoga teachers in the country!  Plus, Sunaina will be putting together a diet plan just for this course!  As you know, your health it’s not just about what happens on the mat, but also what happens in the kitchen too! You’ll have a weekly diet plan which has been customized to this experience.  So whether you are trying to lose weight, build muscle or tone your figure, this course is perfect for you!

SCHEDULE

Your 21 day course will be broken down into three distinct parts with a different focus for each of the three weeks. First we will work on building flexibility.  This is  a vital part of the yoga practice but it is just the beginning.

The second week will be about developing your strength.  It doesn’t matter what level your practice is, having a stronger body will give you a stronger practice!

Lastly, the third week will be about activating the core.  You’ll learn how to fire up the core while keeping other areas of your body relaxed.

Here’s the plan:

WEEK 1 – FLEXIBILITY
November 1st – 8th

The first week is designed to systematically open up the key areas of your body and bring mobility to your muscles and joints.  This week will set the foundation for the rest of your practice.

WEEK 2 – STRENGTH
November 9th – 16th

The second week is all about getting stronger.  This week will focus on conditioning your muscles to increase your strength and stamina.  This will propel you into a fuller range of motion and get you feeling like the best version of yourself!

WEEK 3 – CORE
November 17th – 24th

The third week will push you to become the master of your core.  We will focus on developing your front core, side body and lower back so you can find the perfect balance in your practice!

ABOUT YOUR HOST

Sunaina Rekhi started her yoga journey as we all do, as a student.  She originally found the practice challenging but came to see it as a gateway to experiencing her body.  As a mother, she quickly understood that yoga is a holistic way to stay balanced and energized.

As a trained Psychotherapist and Counsellor, it was only natural that she would eventually want to give back and teach.

To learn how to teach, she ventured to Rishikesh and Mysore to learn from some of the best guru’s in India!

Nowadays, when she’s not busy shooting yoga videos for her TV show or YouTube channel, Sunaina is usually teaching.  Her teaching style brings together elements of Yin, Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga. While her teaching schedule has taken her around the world, she’s happiest when she get’s spend time at home being mom!
