WHAT TO EXPECT

Keeping up with the momentum from our 21-day course, Sunaina was keen to design a weekend workshop for you!  These two days are designed to get you stronger and off your feet!  The plan is to build up core strength on Day One with arm balances and then really take off with inversions on day two!

This will be a high energy weekend with a lot of impact.  Sunaina, wants to make that sure you’re learning and not just following.  She’ll break down every posture to make sure that you don’t rely on brute strength, but rather correct form.  These uplifting workshops will be fun, informative, inspiring, and of course make you sweat!  So get ready to feel your strongest self!

SCHEDULE

DAY 1 – STRENGTH
December 16th 

6pm – 730pm


This fun, challenging workshop is designed to teach you how to do arm balances with more awareness.  Learn how to perfect your form to allow you to move further in your arm balances.  This one will begin with a series of drills that lead up to arm balances.   No matter where you are in your own practice, you’ll develop the tools to better your core strength and improve your arm balances!

DAY 2 – INVERSIONS
December 17th 

6pm – 730pm


This inspiring workshop will really get you off your feet.  It doesn’t matter if you’re working on your headstand, your forearm balance or a handstand, the basic alignment still applies.  Come and build the confidence to flip it upside down and challenge yourself to defy gravity!

Come and get the most out of this weekend and start your mornings right.  Sunaina has designed this weekender to pair together.  Of course you can still do each day independently, but the arm balancing techniques you learn on Day 1 will be very helpful with your inversions the following day.  So come and turn your world on its head and let’s get stronger!

ABOUT YOUR HOST

Sunaina Rekhi started her yoga journey as we all do, as a student.  She originally found the practice challenging but came to see it as a gateway to experiencing her body.  As a mother, she quickly understood that yoga is a holistic way to stay balanced and energized.

As a trained Psychotherapist and Counsellor, it was only natural that she would eventually want to give back and teach.

To learn how to teach, she ventured to Rishikesh and Mysore to learn from some of the best guru’s in India!

Nowadays, when she’s not busy shooting yoga videos for her TV show or YouTube channel, Sunaina is usually teaching.  Her teaching style brings together elements of Yin, Hatha, Vinyasa and Ashtanga. While her teaching schedule has taken her around the world, she’s happiest when she get’s spend time at home being mom!
